Minister of Transportation Praises China’s Airport Development and Railway Industries

HE the Minister of Transportation and Acting Chief Executive of Bahrain Economic Development Board Mr. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed met with the People’s Republic of China Ambassador

HE the Minister of Transportation and Acting Chief Executive of Bahrain Economic Development Board Mr. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed met with the People’s Republic of China Ambassador to Bahrain HE Mr. Li Chen to discuss means to increase cooperation between the Ministry of Transportation and Chinese companies and bolstering the role they play in serving the Bahraini market.

During the meeting, HE the Minister of Transportation praised the role and steps taken by Chinese companies in meeting the needs of the Bahraini market and economic sectors including airport and railway development and technological systems and infrastructure.

His Excellency the Minister further added that he was able to meet with various Chinese companies during the Paris Le Bourget Airshow held from the 17th -23rd of June 2013 in France and looks forward to see more Chinese companies participating in future airshow exhibitions given their reputation in the aviation industry. HE also noted that the Kingdom of Bahrain was actively promoting the Bahrain International Airshow 2014 during the Paris Airshow.
