Transporting Goods using Trucks Registered with Orange License Plates to and from Bahrain International Airport

The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has observed that unlicensed trucks are transporting goods from and to Bahrain International Airport. These trucks belong to companies, establishments, and individuals that do not have the appropriate license to conduct the “Internal Transport of Goods" activity and their trucks are registered with orange license plate numbers.

In accordance with the Ministry's directives to develop and regulate the activities of the land transport sector, including the activity of "Internal Transport of Goods", the companies, establishments, and individuals have to apply for the issuance of the "Internal Transport of Goods" license and change all the trucks currently registered with orange license plate numbers to yellow license plate numbers in order for them to be able to transport goods to and from the Airport.

Effective 1st June 2019, all companies, establishments, and individuals without the appropriate license will be prevented from entering the Airport to reduce the illegal violations currently practiced.
