Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS)

PMA has almost reached the last phase of the VTMS replacement project for the port control at Khalifa Bin Salman Port in which a highly sophisticated and modern VTMS will be installed in cooperation with the port operating company (APM Terminals Bahrain) to replace the old VTMS. A high level of maritime safety and security shall be achieved by deploying a state-of-art VTMS which will enable the PMA to safe and secure the territorial water of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
