HE Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, received Jannie Davel, CEO of MSC Air Cargo.
HE Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to further developing the transport and logistics sector by providing advanced infrastructure and an attractive investment environment, enhancing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as a leading regional hub. He noted the ongoing expansion of strategic partnerships with major global companies to support sector growth and improve competitiveness.
The meeting also discussed means to enhance cooperation in the ports sector, air cargo, and logistics services, and reviewed Bahrain’s competitive advantages and investment opportunities, as well as facilitation measures offered to cargo operators. It also explored opportunities to strengthen integration between air, sea, and land transport modes to improve the efficiency of regional and international supply chains.
