The PMA is responsible for licensing and regulating all passenger transport jetties across the Kingdom. These facilities are located in popular tourist areas, including Bahrain Bay, Amwaj Islands, Manama, and Al Dar Islands, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of safety and security for both passengers and infrastructure.

Licenses
Private jetty licenses are issued and regulated by the PMA and are valid for two years. To apply for a license, please access the SIJLAT system on www.sijlat.bh  or to renew an existing license, please visit the Marasi portal here .
