Transportation Minister meets Malta’s Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects

Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, met with Silvio Schembri, Malta’s Minister for the Economy, Enterprise and Strategic Projects, as part of efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries.

The meeting discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation in transportation and telecommunications, as well as shared investment prospects and the exchange of expertise in support of common interests.

The minister emphasised Bahrain’s keenness to expand cooperation with Malta, particularly in digital transformation initiatives and transport infrastructure development.

Schembri commended the growing ties between the two countries and expressed Malta’s interest in deepening partnership through joint initiatives that support economic development in both nations.
