
His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to the national workforce across the Ministry’s various service centers, praising their high level of competence and professionalism in handling diverse operational and emergency situations, as well as their commitment to applying the highest international standards and best practices.
This came during an inspection visit conducted by His Excellency to the Small Vessels Registration Office and the Crisis Management Center in the Bahrain Logistics Zone, accompanied by Mr. Bader Hood Al Mahmood, Undersecretary for Ports and Maritime Affairs. The visit aimed to review the workflow, assess operational readiness, and examine procedures and mechanisms for enhancing emergency response, ensuring the safety and security of maritime navigation.
His Excellency also carried out an inspection visit to the Postal Sorting Center in Al Hidd, accompanied by Ms. Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen, Undersecretary for Land Transport and Post, and Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Hidan, Assistant Undersecretary for Post. The visit focused on reviewing efforts to enhance operational efficiency and improve service quality in line with beneficiaries’ expectations, while ensuring smooth workflow across all departments of the center.
During these visits, the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications emphasized the importance of continued investment in developing modern systems and technologies, as well as enhancing the capabilities of national personnel. This, he noted, would further improve performance efficiency and elevate service standards across vital sectors. He also commended the dedicated efforts of national teams across all sites, while stressing the importance of maintaining high levels of readiness and strengthening rapid response capabilities to safeguard critical infrastructure and ensure the continuity of services with high efficiency.
