Under postal sector regulations, all licensed courier and express service operators are required to charge a minimum of twice the Bahrain Post basic letter tariff (for letters up to 50 grams). This requirement is in place to help preserve the universal service obligation across the Kingdom.
Operators found to be charging below the required minimum may have their license suspended and may be subject to further regulatory action in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
