Installation of the System-Wide Information Management (SWIM)

The Air Navigation Systems Directorate is exploring the implementation of System-Wide Information Management (SWIM), an ICAO framework that enables the standardized, secure, and seamless exchange of aviation information among authorized stakeholders. By facilitating real-time information sharing between air navigation service providers, airlines, airports, meteorological services, and other aviation partners, SWIM supports collaborative decision-making, enhances operational efficiency, and contributes to safer and more efficient air traffic management.
