HE Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, planted trees at the Ministry’s headquarters as part of Tree Week, in the presence of ministry officials and employees.
The initiative follows the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to promote tree planting and environmental sustainability across the Kingdom, supporting the afforestation plan’s target of doubling the number of trees in Bahrain to 3.6 million by 2035.
