HE Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, received Andreas Vyras, Mayor of Larnaca and President of the Union of Cyprus Municipalities in the Republic of Cyprus.
The minister highlighted the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Cyprus, and their mutual keenness to strengthen cooperation across various fields.
The two sides discussed opportunities for cooperation in transportation and telecommunications, infrastructure development and services, as well as ways to boost tourism and trade. They also explored prospects for cooperation in smart cities, modern technologies and sustainable urban development.
For his part, Vyras commended the bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in ways that serve their mutual interests.
