The Business Process Re-engineering and Quality Management Section organized a training workshop on the implementation of the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), attended by His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications.
During the workshop, the core requirements and key concepts of the international standard were presented, along with effective approaches for its implementation across the Ministry’s various sectors.
On the sidelines of the workshop, H.E. the Minister honored the Ministry’s internal auditors in recognition of their contributions to the success of the “Train the Trainer” initiative, launched by the Business Process Re-engineering and Quality Management Section. The initiative aimed to enhance the capabilities of internal auditors through a series of training workshops conducted over three months, contributing to the improvement of internal audit processes across the Ministry.
