HE Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, received Murali Pillai, Senior Minister of State for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Law of Singapore.
The meeting discussed efforts to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two countries in transport, communications, and logistics services.
Both sides reviewed aspects of cooperation and opportunities to develop partnerships in sectors of mutual interest. They underscored the importance of sharing expertise and best practices in sustainable transport, integrated infrastructure planning, and maritime and air services to support economic development and improve the efficiency of transport systems in both countries.
HE Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed highlighted the Bahrain-Singapore relations and their continued progress across various sectors. He emphasised the ministry’s keenness to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise to serve common interests and support sustainable development goals in the transportation sector.
On his part, Minister Pillai expressed appreciation to the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain for its cooperation in advancing bilateral relations.
He commended Bahrain’s progress in the transportation and communications sectors and emphasised Singapore’s interest in further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
