Bahrain’s public bus network is a key component of the Kingdom’s land transport system, offering an affordable, reliable, and environmentally friendly mode of transportation for residents and visitors.

Operated by the Bahrain Public Transport Company under the supervision of the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, the network has grown significantly to meet the needs of a modern and mobile population.

The current network consists of:
•    Over 600 designated bus stops
•    26 well-planned routes that cover major cities, towns, and residential areas
•    140 modern, air-conditioned buses operating daily
•    Daily services with regular schedules and real-time updates through the official app and website

These buses connect key locations including Manama, Muharraq, Isa Town, Riffa, Budaiya, Saar, and the Bahrain International Airport. The system is designed to support urban mobility while reducing congestion and promoting the use of public transportation.

The Ministry continues to invest in the improvement and expansion of the network, aiming to provide a high-quality transport option that supports Bahrain’s sustainable development goals.
